Musical: Beauty & the Beast
Our performers will dive into the magical world of Beauty and the Beast Jr., exploring selected scenes that highlight courage, kindness, and the power of understanding others.
In this adaptation, students will tell the story of a prince who has lost hope and an intelligent young girl who feels disconnected from the world around her. Both characters are misunderstood by their communities, yet they unexpectedly find comfort and strength in each other’s friendship.
Through music, acting, and movement, campers will learn how these two unlikely companions grow, change, and ultimately discover the true meaning of belonging.
Throughout camp, students will...
- Learn and rehearse musical scenes featuring singing, acting, and expressive storytelling
- Build confidence through ensemble work and character development.
- Explore themes of acceptance, self-worth, and empathy
- Strengthen vocal technique, stage presence, and teamwork
By the end of camp, our young artists will present a joyful and heartwarming performance that celebrates the beauty within us all.

Mask Making and Performance (Ages 8-11)
with Lucy Hamilton
(Ages 8-11)
These young artists will create their own story. Join us as they not only write their own story, but also craft their own masks costumes, and sets!
Masks played an enormous role in ancient theatre, and masks are still used today (in shows such as The Lion King and Phantom of the Opera). Our fabulous instructors will walk our young actors through designing their masks in this fun camp session. They will be guided step by step in creating these masks and then they will perform an original piece in them.
This is an extraordinary session for young actors who might be nervous about lines or anyone with stage fright. Together, we will explore the joys of theatre behind hand-made masks.
