Tuesday Players (Silver Ensemble)
with Kathleen Davis
This theater ensemble is designed to be fun for all levels of theater experience (including none), for those who prefer a small, covid risk-aware environment, and for folks who like a daytime schedule. We will include some theater games, some scene work, and anything else the group is interested in.
Master Class - American Realism
with Tal Arnold
In this class we will take a close look at some of the great American playwrites. Each actor will be cast in a scene and monologue from a great American Playwrite, and over the course of the 12 week session, we will go through a rigurous process putting the material on its feet. We will, as Hamlet said, "fit the action to the word," which we will do begining with table work, and ending with modest showcase in our Backstage Lounge.
Possible Playwrites include, but are not limited to; Eugene O'Neil, Lillian Hellman, Dorothy Parker, Arthur Miller, Clifford Odets, August Wilson, Sam Shepard, Lynn Nottage, and others which will depend on the actors in the room.
