Miss Twiggley's Tree

$300

with Kaitlyn Kuhr

Calendar Jul 8, 2024 at 9 am, runs for 1 week

Ages 5-7

This camp includes morning theater time and afternoon playtime.

Together we will bring the characters from Miss Twiggley's Tree to life. This whimsical book by Dorthea Warren Fox reminds us to be "When emergencies come, you don't think about you. You help all you can. And you never ask why. Then the first thing you know you forget to be shy."

This fun-filled session includes lots of theater games, colorful costumes, fun make-up, lights, props, sets, and all the fun things that come with putting on a show!

Each morning the kids will work on their show in the theater and learn all about performance, and after lunch, the counselors will take them to explore the outdoors, enjoy games, do arts and crafts, and PLAY.

Performances will be on July 11th and times are determined as we move through the week of rehearsals.

The final day of camp, July 12th, is one of the most important. It’s a day for the kids to learn how to strike a set, wrap up a show, and then celebrate with a talent show and lots of fun.

Funny Miss Twiggley lives in a tree with a dog named Puss and a Color TV...

This sweet tale is about shy Miss Twiggley who doesn't like to be with people. When a hurricane hits her small town her tree becomes a haven for the townfolk and she learns "When emergencies come, you don't think about you. You help all you can. And you never ask why. Then the first thing you know you forget to be shy."

Payment plan available: $100 deposit plus 2 payments of $100.00, paid every four weeks.
