Adult Improv
with Andrew Long

In this class, both experienced players and motivated beginners will work to develop basic long-form improv skills: clear initiations, active listening ("yes, and"), well-defined characters and points of view, strong emotional reactions, pattern/game, object work, and edits. As a group we will choose and become familiar with a specific form or two with an eye toward an end-of-term showcase. We also might play some short-form games, for variety's sake.
Curious about improv but confused by the previous paragraph? That's ok! Newcomers need only the willingness to learn and the desire to have fun! Have questions? Please email me atĀ aklong@gmail.com.
