Moana
with Evergreen Children's Chorale

Ages 6-11
Our instructors and counselors are excited to welcome you to two weeks of theater fun and creativity as you bring songs from Moana to life on stage this summer!
If you enjoy performing musical theater or want to try it for the first time, this camp is for YOU. Anyone is welcome as long as you’re ready to have fun.
Students will spend their days learning music, choreography, and staging for a final performance. There is always outdoor activity and creative time mixed throughout their days.
Performances will be on the second to last day of camp, and times are determined as we move through the week of rehearsals.
The final day of camp is one of the most important. It’s a day for the kids to learn how to strike a set, wrap up a show, and then celebrate with a talent show and lots of fun.

Mask Making and Performance
with Lucy Hamilton

Ages 8-12
Dates: July 24-28
In this session, these young artists will learn how to make and perform in their own masks. Masks played an enormous role in ancient theatre, and masks are still used today (in shows such as The Lion King and Phantom of the Opera). In this fun-filled camp session, our fabulous instructors will walk our young actors through designing their own personal masks. They will be guided step by step in creating these masks and then they will perform an original piece in them. This is a wonderful session for any young actors who might be nervous about lines, or for anyone with stage fright. Together we will explore the joys of theatre behind hand-made masks.
Performances will be on the second to last day of camp, and times are determined as we move through the week of rehearsals.

Petalwink and Friends
with Jorie Bachus

Ages 5-7
Dates: July 24 – 28
This camp includes morning theater time and afternoon playtime.
Together we will bring the characters from Newman’s Forest in this fanciful tale of "Petalwink the Fair" to life. This is a whimsical book written by author Angela Sage Larsen that reminds us to be “glad to be me”.
This fun-filled session includes lots of theater games, colorful costumes, fun make-up, lights, props, sets, and all the fun things that come with putting on a show!
Each morning the kids will work on their show in the theater and learn all about performance, and after lunch, the counselors will take them to explore the outdoors, enjoy games, do arts and crafts and PLAY.
Performances will be on the second to last day of camp and times are determined as we move through the week of rehearsals.
