You can do one, two, or all three weeks of camp. OR you can do two different tech camps and get your hands into all areas of what happens behind the scenes.

This year we are taking Tech camp to a new level by creating two distinctive camps. We hope this will encourage those with specific interests to join and grow in their specific area of interest.

The Sets, Costume, and Stage Management camp will focus on all the creative design elements needed to set the scene. The additional aspect of Stage Management will give those interested an opportunity to understand more about how to lead the backstage and tech crews.

NO SHOW HAPPENS WITHOUT AN AMAZING TECH TEAM!

We encourage new and experienced campers to join the sessions.

Performances will be on the second to last day of camp and times are determined The final day of camp is one of the most important. It’s a day for the kids to learn how to strike a set, wrap up a show, and then celebrate with a talent show and lots of fun.

Mask Making and Performance

$300

with Lucy Hamilton

Calendar Jul 22, 2024 at 9 am, runs for 1 week

Ages 8-12

 Dates: July 22-26

In this session, these young artists will learn how to make and perform in their own masks. Masks played an enormous role in ancient theatre, and masks are still used today (in shows such as The Lion King and Phantom of the Opera). In this fun-filled camp session, our fabulous instructors will walk our young actors through designing their own personal masks. They will be guided step by step in creating these masks and then they will perform an original piece in them. This is a wonderful session for any young actors who might be nervous about lines, or for anyone with stage fright. Together we will explore the joys of theatre behind hand-made masks.

Performances will be on the second to last day of camp, and times are determined as we move through the week of rehearsals.

The final day of camp is one of the most important. It’s a day for the kids to learn how to strike a set and wrap up a show, and then we celebrate with a talent show and lots of fun.
